Historic Mansions of Butler Walking Tour

Join local historian and storyteller Bill May on Saturday, July 11th @ 6:30 for his “Historic Mansions of Butler Walking Tour.” The tour starts at the corner of North McKean and Howard Streets near the Butler Little Theater.

Participants will hear the stories of over 20 homes, including Elm Court, in the historic neighborhood of North McKean, East Fulton, and East Pearl Streets as well as their connections to Abraham Lincoln, Mark Twain, John Muir, John D. Rockefeller, the Civil War and the Underground Railroad. The story of a local murder will also be featured!
