Park describes the brutality, starvation, and control she experienced growing up, as well as the dangers of human trafficking she faced after fleeing. Through her story, she reflects on identity, survival, and the courage it takes to reclaim one’s life. The book is both a personal testimony and a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit.
